Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Consumer Payments, aligning near-term execution with Toast’s long-term strategy.
Define the end-to-end consumer payment experience across areas such as wallet, stored value, guest checkout, rewards-linked payments, and emerging lower-cost payment methods.
Partner with Consumer and Guest teams to create payment experiences that are seamless, intuitive, and habit-forming for diners across Toast surfaces.
Work closely with other Payment teams, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to design solutions that are compliant, scalable, and economically compelling.
Drive product discovery and prioritization grounded in customer needs, business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic differentiation.
Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving internal platform teams and external partners.
Translate broad strategic goals into clear milestones, measurable outcomes, and focused execution plans.
Use data to evaluate adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, payment mix, margin impact, and customer value.
Communicate strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and risks clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders across Toast.

Requirements
8+ years of product management experience, including significant experience in payments, fintech, consumer payments, wallets, or other complex platform businesses.
Track record of defining, building, and scaling products in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
Strong understanding of digital payments, wallets, stored value, alternative payment methods, or consumer fintech ecosystems.
Ability to balance customer experience, technical complexity, risk and compliance constraints, and business economics.
Strong technical fluency and comfort partnering deeply with engineering on architecture, APIs, dependencies, and rollout planning.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to move fluidly between detail and big-picture strategy.
Experience with marketplace, network, loyalty, or two-sided platform models is a plus.
