Planning, development, deployment and ongoing execution of technical support activities for IT users and Infrastructure Support Services, both remotely and on-site, including guidance and clarification, receipt, logging, analysis, diagnosis, fulfilment of customer requests, problem resolution, service implementation, migrations and technology transfers, execution of periodic procedures, and control and updating of documentation related to IT infrastructure support.
Design, install, deploy, operate, administer and maintain the set of tools, software and hardware that make up resources and solutions related to databases.
Handle incidents, problems, requests and changes related to the database environment.
Perform configurations, changes and optimizations in the database environment.
Keep the environment up to date in accordance with change management guidelines.
Coordinate with vendors when necessary.
Open and manage tickets with solution vendors.
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for the entire environment.
Provide support to system maintenance services regarding best techniques, tools and data solution alternatives, aiming to create and maintain databases in accordance with defined standards.
Administer the Oracle environment.
Maintain the data object library.
Support data administrators in using databases in compliance with data administration standards.
Maintain naming conventions and mnemonics.
Specify logical data security criteria.
Validate and endorse logical and physical data models.
Provide, maintain and safeguard an integrated view of the data contained in the data integration map.
Follow Data Administration policies.
Guide users in the use of data modeling tools.
Support teams involved in coordination and control of changes in IT, IT planning, software quality and system testing with respect to corporate databases.
Address maintenance and update requests for databases in development, QA, testing and production environments.
Support technical teams in configuration activities, initial data loads and parameterization of databases for deployment according to user needs.
Keep data administration knowledge bases up to date.
Configure and manage database backups.
Assist in proposing database backup policies.
Perform performance analysis and evaluate resource utilization of database environments.
Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems in database environments.
Track tickets opened with the vendor for issues related to software under their responsibility.
Upgrade database versions and apply patches when necessary.
Participate in projects by providing technical information about database environment characteristics.
Write technical articles about best practices related to database environments and disseminate knowledge to technical teams.
Research solutions and prepare technical specifications to support analyses related to database infrastructure.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
Experience working in corporate environments with critical systems and high availability requirements.
ITIL 4 training with a minimum duration of 12 (twelve) hours.
Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher.
Official OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) certification.
Official OCE (Oracle Certified Expert) RAC certification.
Advanced Linux course with a minimum of 30 (thirty) hours.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Multicloud Architect Professional course (7 hours).
