Role Overview
- Provide fixed equipment engineering consulting to inspectors, operators, engineers, and management
- Lead development of pressure vessel asset strategies for the facility
- Provide RBI engineer inputs and manage software for asset level risk calculation
- Participate in planning and executing plant turnaround work plans
- Develop inspection scope for fixed equipment and repair options
- Analyze data, calculate corrosion rates, assess risk for piping, tanks, and pressure vessels
- Collaborate with personnel from other Chevron refineries for standardization
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Engineering
- API 580 Risk Based Inspection Certification
- Operational Excellence with clear understanding of OE requirements
- Experience in a complex process facility
- Working knowledge of damage mechanisms, asset strategies, and turnaround planning/execution
- Experience with risk-based inspection API 580/581 methodology and software (Predix)
