Architect – Comsys, DSP System

Role Overview

• Develop models and algorithms for the Terawave Custom Silicon
• Packet processing, MAC, PHY, Radio DSP Drive for lowest power consumption and highest performance
• Target algorithms for FPGA and ASIC implementation
• Support the ASIC implementation through Pre-silicon verification
• Design advanced Digital end-to-end communication systems
• Develop and model Channel impairments models
• Work collaboratively with ASIC, RFIC and SW implementation teams
• Bring up prototype pre-silicon and support all post-silicon to validate architecture performance

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Signal processing or Modem design and development
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Experience with networking, modem MAC and PHY, DSP, RF and/or Mixed Signal designs
• Experience with Matlab, SystemC, C/C++ or other System level tools
• Knowledge of DSP and communications systems including spread spectrum, forward error correction, and modulation types (OFDM, QPSK, QAM, PCM/FM, PAM)
