Role Overview
- Developing a thorough understanding and delivery of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost, and schedule.
- Determining and expediting the engineering deliverables for projects.
- Developing and maintaining the project scope of work documentation and revisions as required during the design evolution.
- Designing of electrical systems, including power distribution systems, UPS systems, standby generator systems, and security and life systems.
- Preparing the engineering calculations, schematic designs and detailed designs.
- Preparing technical documentation required for the execution of the project including design criteria, design calculations, process flow sheets, and specification and data sheets for electrical equipment.
- Reviewing of shop drawings.
- Producing models and drawings in various BIM software and CAD modeling tools.
- Using BIM tools to virtually construct Electrical systems and coordinate with other disciplines using tools such as Autodesk Revit.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
- Proven expertise as an electrical engineer.
- Autodesk Revit proficiency is a must.
- Written and spoken English B1 and higher.
- Experience in electrical design for industrial, residential, and commercial sectors in medium voltage and low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection.
- Hands-on experience using tools and software such as ETAP, SKM Power tools, Dialux, ElumTools etc.
- Experience in working on projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of US electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly while meeting project deadlines.

- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
