Role Overview
- Support the design and coordination of cutting-edge data center projects across the U.S.
- Provide services as an independent, self-employed professional under a formal independent contractor agreement
- Design and coordinate ICT systems, including structured cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, security systems, access control, video surveillance, and other low-voltage systems critical to data center operations
- Prepare technical documentation, perform engineering calculations, develop system layouts, and ensure design accuracy using BIM and ICT engineering tools
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and BIM teams in a multidisciplinary environment
- Contribute to the full project lifecycle from schematic design through construction documentation and coordination.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related field
- Proven expertise as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer
- Written and spoken English B1 and higher
- Experience in ICT design including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems
- Experience designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical facilities
- Experience using BIM modeling tools and design software
- Hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit – is a must
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Understanding of telecommunications standards and low-voltage system codes
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize while meeting project deadlines
- Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Excellent communication skills.
