Role Overview
- Develop and maintain data pipelines on Databricks
- Build and evolve data-driven APIs and backend services
- Model data for analytical and operational consumption
- Optimize job and query performance and cloud costs
- Ensure data quality, versioning, and governance
- Collaborate with product, data, and business squads
- Participate in code reviews and define best practices
Requirements
- Experience as a Databricks Developer, Data Engineer, or backend developer focused on data
- Strong experience with Databricks (Spark, notebooks, jobs, Delta Lake)
- Proficient in Python or Scala for data processing
- Experience in backend development (REST APIs, microservices)
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) applied to data
- Good practices in version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD
- Advanced English for conversation and interaction in a global context
