Lead the end-to-end accounting, valuation, and forecasting for all global equity incentive plans.
Partner closely with the SVP of Financial Reporting, Legal Counsel, and the People Team to provide analysis on plan availability, burn rates, and the financial impact of proposed equity structures.
Oversee state and international mobility, ensuring that cross-border tax withholding and reporting are technically sound and compliant with local jurisdictions.
Develop sophisticated models to forecast SBC expense, diluted shares impact, and cash flow requirements under multiple "what-if" scenarios.
Set the standard for SOX compliance within the equity function and lead the relationship with external auditors.
Act as the bridge between Finance, People/HR, and Legal, providing insights into the accounting impact of daily decisions.
Directly manage and develop a Manager-level professional, fostering a culture of technical excellence, career growth, and attention to detail.
Other areas include ESPP and Section 16 filings.
Requirements
8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3-5+ years specifically focused on equity accounting.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
Active CPA is required.
Mastery of US GAAP, specifically ASC 718 and ASC 260
Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
