Role Overview
- Investigate claims thoroughly, including coverage and identifying subrogation
- Manage medical issues and schedule timely appointments
- Work closely with Team Manager to identify red flags
- Consistently keep claim files documented and updated
- Ensure that all medical payments are issued timely and appropriately
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
- Can determine what next steps are required and proactively respond
- Able to multitask in various systems and/or programs
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience within the insurance and/or medical field a plus
- Experience with Alabama Workers’ Compensation and/or OJI (on-the-job injury) programs strongly preferred
