Business Development Executive

Role Overview

• Drive the business development strategy and growth efforts for PSS across the UK and Ireland.
• Work closely with PSS Leadership to understand priorities and set ambitious yet achievable annual targets.
• Identify, pursue, and win new PSS opportunities, developing key accounts through analysing client organisations and uncovering their service requirements.
• Assess client needs and help design tailored service solutions, collaborating with PSS Leadership to create proposals, present to clients, and deliver outcomes that meet revenue and profitability goals.
• Collaborate with global colleagues on multi‑regional projects, manage contracting processes for new business, and maintain accurate CRM reporting.

Requirements

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in a life sciences discipline, or relevant vocational training and business expertise.
• Proven business development success at senior levels within the target industry, ideally with experience in Pharma Insourcing.
• Expert knowledge of product commercialisation, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and associated testing and service needs within your clients’ markets.
• Manage key commercial and contractual processes—such as CDAs, MSAs, and pricing agreements.
• Strong communication, presentation, and team player skills, building effective networks and maintaining a customer‑focused, service‑led approach.
