Provides executive leadership and strategic direction for all transactional and indirect tax matters within MVW.
Oversees global indirect tax strategy and execution including sales and use tax, VAT, GST, and other tax regimes.
Supports the company’s financial reporting obligations and coordinates with external auditors.
Partners with Corporate Tax, Controllership, Legal, Treasury, and business leaders for assessing tax implications.
Responsible for maintaining strong SOX-compliant controls, audit readiness, and governance over tax processes.
Advises senior leaders on emerging tax legislation and leads a high-performing tax organization.
Creates a climate that fosters individual professional development and establishes an operational framework for team performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
Master’s degree in Tax (MST), Accounting, MBA, Juris Doctorate, or a related discipline preferred.
CPA, BAR member or equivalent preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive tax experience with leadership responsibility.
At least five years in a supervisory role with demonstrated success leading and developing a functional team.
Deep technical expertise in indirect and transactional tax regimes.
Experience partnering closely with Controllership, Legal, and business stakeholders.
Experience operating in a public‑company environment, including SOX controls.
Experience building or transforming tax functions.
Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
