Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
Contribute to incident response efforts, including investigation and documentation.
Utilize industry-standard security tools and software for threat detection and prevention.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance security measures and implement secure coding practices.
Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training within the organization.
Integrate security best practices into all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and manage security automation tools within the CI/CD pipeline.
Assist in managing user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with IAM policies and procedures.
Requirements
A recent graduate within the last 12 months with a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week at the assigned McKesson location.
