Leverage existing dealer and co-op relationships and identify new distribution opportunities to expand market share within the assigned territory.
Understand market needs and communicate how the Purina product portfolio addresses those needs; ensure dealers and co-ops are stocked with appropriate inventory.
Serve as the lead contact for key accounts, including accounts with multiple sellers, and collaborate across Channel Sales to meet revenue targets.
Independently qualify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities with dealers and co-ops.
Provide accurate product availability updates and manage inventory levels to support sales execution.
Support sales growth through on-farm visits and participation in dealer and customer functions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
Typically 5–10 years of relevant experience in sales, animal nutrition, or a related field.
Moderate knowledge of the animal nutrition industry, sales practices, and the Purina product portfolio.
Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex sales and market challenges.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently under general supervision while contributing to broader departmental and organizational objectives.
