Role Overview
- Create original German-language copy for areas such as movie and TV synopses and content descriptions for streaming providers.
- Translate and transcreate copy for JustWatch’s data-driven campaigns and global outreach.
- Write and edit copy based on our SEO analysis.
- Research and stay informed about upcoming movie and TV releases.
- Collaborate closely with an international copywriting team.
Requirements
- Native German speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven copywriting and editorial experience (SEO-focused experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of and passion for movies and TV shows.
- Self-motivated and ambitious — personal projects (e.g., an entertainment blog) are a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, from proofreading to evaluating reliable online sources.
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to work efficiently remotely.
- Prior experience in the entertainment industry (especially streaming-related) is a major plus.
