Develop and oversee pricing execution for the U.S. retirement plan business, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with corporate objectives.
Lead the pricing team in evaluating and setting prices for new business and renewals, applying data-driven insights to optimize profitability and growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Underwriting, Sales, and Product, to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business goals and market demands.
Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory changes to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Work within established pricing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to refine pricing methodologies and improve accuracy.
Present complex pricing concepts and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.
Mentor and develop pricing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, actuarial science, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional designation (e.g., FSA, ASA, CPA) preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in retirement plan pricing or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of retirement plan products, pricing methodologies, and market dynamics.
Proven experience in leading teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools and software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present to senior leaders.
Ability to respond to field requests in a timely manner, managing short deadlines and competing priorities effectively.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting U.S. retirement plans.
