Independently coordinating all project-related activities during planning, procurement, production, on-site assembly/installation, and commissioning of systems
Leading an experienced project team
Convening and chairing all project meetings
Managing claims vis-à-vis customers and subcontractors
Documenting key milestones
Taking full responsibility for costs, schedules, and quality
Responding to changes in sub-goals and budgets and implementing corrective measures in case of deviations
Reporting project progress to divisional and senior management
Requirements
Technical training or a degree in mechanical engineering, automation technology, or industrial engineering
In-depth knowledge of investment/capital project management, ideally with experience as an architect or civil engineer
Several years of professional experience as a project manager, preferably in the logistics industry
Additional experience managing turnkey projects is an advantage
Strong organizational and negotiation skills
Good communication skills
Goal-oriented work approach combined with assertiveness
Proficient with MS Office (including MS Project)
Good CAD and SAP skills
Very good written and spoken English
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 50%; DACH region plus Eastern Europe)
