Own and manage key accounting functions including fixed assets, lease accounting, and payroll, with flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as the team's needs change
Manage fixed asset accounting end-to-end, including policy, reconciliations, and reporting, using NetSuite and the Netgain Fixed Asset Module (FAM)
Lead lease accounting and ensure compliance with ASC 842
Oversee payroll accounting and partner with the People team on reconciliations and reporting via Rippling
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure SOX compliance across areas of ownership; design, document, and monitor internal controls
Support external audit requests and interact with auditors as needed
Drive continuous process improvement and system optimization initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required or strongly preferred
6–9 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Deep expertise in fixed assets, lease accounting, and payroll
Proficiency in NetSuite or similar accounting systems required
Experience with Netgain FAM and Rippling (or similar payroll platforms) is a plus
Strong working knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
Big 4 public accounting background highly preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
