About this role
Role Overview
- Write high-quality code following solid engineering principles and best practices
- Review the code of engineers at various seniority levels
- Actively contribute to improving the quality and health of our codebase, processes, and teams
- Collaborate closely with product and customer experience teams
- Gain a deep understanding of the features being built or bugs being fixed
Requirements
- Commitment to building and maintaining emotionally safe environments where teams can do their best work
- Extensive experience with deploying and monitoring large-scale Web applications (mainly using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL, with occasional use of Golang, Redis, Elasticsearch, NodeJS, and others)
- Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience running services on Kubernetes clusters
- Previous experience with building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
- Background or knowledge in Software Engineering
- Based in Berlin or Germany in general
