Senior Planning Analyst – Finance Focus

Role Overview

• Act strategically in controlling the commercial budget and analyzing results, providing direct support to executive leadership through consistent analyses, projections and structured presentations that guide decision-making.
• Responsible for developing and leading the Business Unit's budgeting process, focusing on volume and market share projections aligned with the strategic guidelines and targets of Execution Intelligence (IE).
• Consolidate, control and monitor the commercial budget (volume, revenue, margin), ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
• Monitor actuals versus budget, identify variances and propose action plans together with commercial teams.
• Develop scenarios and performance simulations based on historical data, market trends and operational variables.
• Create and maintain dashboards and management reports with commercial KPIs, ensuring information accuracy and timely updates.
• Consolidate and analyze IE results, ensuring visibility and clarity for the areas involved.
• Prepare strategic presentations with IE results and commercial performance for Vice-Presidency, Directors and Management meetings, ensuring clarity, storytelling, consistency and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with areas such as Finance, Commercial, Trading and Strategic Planning to ensure analyses are aligned with business goals.
• Contribute analyses and insights in executive forums, performance reviews and planning committees.
• Support junior and mid-level analysts in technical development and in performing more complex analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Statistics or related fields
• Experience in Budgeting and FP&A
• Soft skills: Presentation ability for managers/directors
• Technical skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI and SQL are a plus.
