Develop new customer opportunities by meeting with customers, understanding their challenges and requirements, and proposing technical solutions to proactively integrate Aptiv connectors into production.
Represent the “voice of the customer” to internal sales and engineering teams.
Track and improve penetration and growth of aerospace connectors by customer, market and product lines.
Recommend new products and technologies needed to grow our sales in Aerospace markets and support their inclusion in the future product roadmap.
Develop competitive benchmarking analyses (products, performance, technical trade-offs) to highlight value proposition opportunities.
Drive the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) for the internal costing/quoting process.
Lead technical reviews with customers.
Contribute to the preparation of materials for internal commercial performance reviews.
Requirements
University degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical).
Minimum 3 years of experience in areas relevant to our business, such as wiring harnesses and connectors, and in end markets like Aerospace.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with innovative product solutions: structuring problems, collecting and analyzing data, producing analyses, making recommendations and gaining customer buy-in.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create professional visual materials (PowerPoint) and to communicate effectively with customers.
Strong growth orientation and a commercial developer mindset ("hunter").
Highly self-motivated, with a strong track record of performance and career progression.
Proven experience collaborating effectively in a team environment.
