About this role

Develop technical and commercial solutions to support the Data Center sales team.
Listen, understand and convey customer requirements.
Prepare, coordinate and respond to functional and technical elements of customer RFQs.
Provide technical support for the integration of Generac products with other Data Center equipment.
Present technical solutions and options to external customers.
Maintain professional business relationships within target accounts.
Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities.
Resolve customer issues or difficulties.
Partner with both internal and external suppliers to design and specify complete solutions.
Perform technical/ product training for sales people, estimators, and engineers.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
5+ years’ experience working in an Engineering role
Experience reading architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints
Experience with and understanding of network communications technology (Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.)
Proficient with industrial standards, UL, NEC, ASME, IEC, NEMA
Familiar with Data Center design standards like Uptime Institute
