Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of tax returns for multiple entities including partnership returns
Reviewing and overseeing quarterly and annual consolidated tax provisions and tax reporting under IFRS
Reviewing, overseeing and assisting in the preparation of all intercompany reports as required
Reviewing and overseeing the SRED tax credits claims
Reviewing and overseeing indirect tax remittances
Managing and coordinating tax audits
Identify and Manage tax exposure / risk for the company and all its affiliates
Advise on a full spectrum of corporate tax services
Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Share knowledge with team members and assist in their development

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting or related field of study
CPA Designation
Graduate level specialization in taxation (DESSF) or CPA In-Depth Tax Course or other comparable tax courses
10+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of computerized systems such as Tax Prep, Excel, Oracle and Google suite
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act, Excise Tax Act, provincial sale tax act and technical aspects of tax compliance
