About this role

Completes proformas, financial analysis, monthly cash and allowance forecasts, long range planning, and assists with budgeting.
Performs monthly analytical assessments of assigned geographical locations and creates progress reports for management.
Performs data mining of department data structures to determine themes, uncover trends in financial performance, and identify root cause areas of improvement for the regional governance committees.
Remains current with trending topics in Healthcare Finance and Healthcare Reform.
Educates leadership and others of impending changes and guides preparatory processes as appropriate.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements, revenue enhancements, cost containments and business and market share growth.
Reviews information for data integrity.

Bachelors Degree, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or Business Administration/Finance (Required)
3-4 years related Healthcare finance experience (Required)
Aptitude and ability to extract data from information systems using various report writers and software packages
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (VBA preferred)
Working knowledge of databases and database software required
Strong problems solving, data analysis, and decision making skills
