Role Overview
Design and validate precision analog and power circuitry for high‑voltage (up to 240 V) electricity metering applications, emphasizing accuracy, safety, and long‑term reliability
Develop AC‑to‑DC power supplies, including magnetics, isolation, protection, and efficiency optimization
Perform hands‑on prototype builds, debug, and characterization using lab and environmental test equipment
Minimize RF emissions while optimizing cost
Drive root‑cause analysis, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to manufacturing test and calibration strategies
Collaborate with firmware, systems, mechanical, compliance, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle
Participate in design reviews and mentor junior engineers, promoting strong engineering practices and an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in analog and power electronics design
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
Strong understanding of analog component performance, noise, thermal effects and long-term product stability
Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout best practices
Experience with typical electronics lab equipment
Demonstrated ability to work accountably and independently while contributing to collaborative, cross‑functional teams in a dynamic, agile environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document designs, share results, and engage authentically with teammates and stakeholders across disciplines.
