About this role
Role Overview
- Support the design, build and maintenance of core Azure and Snowflake data platform components.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, enabling repeatable and automated deployments.
- Build and run CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Contribute to platform monitoring, including logging, metrics and alerting through observability tooling.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate where appropriate.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and data teams to provision secure and performant environments.
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying enhancements to automation, performance and reliability.
Requirements
- ~3+ years’ experience in platform, cloud, or data platform engineering
- Hands‑on experience with key Azure data services (e.g., Data Factory, Data Lake, Power BI/Fabric)
- Experience working with Snowflake or other relational cloud data platforms
- Foundational to intermediate skills in Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks
