Assist in developing, delivering, and implementing the MWC training and learning curriculum for MWC team members in an organized and strategic approach
Review and improve training practices and materials to increase effectiveness
Coach and train new and recently promoted leaders through the leadership program
Partner with site teams and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to design and implement strategic training plans for Vacation Reliefs, Assistant Team Leaders, Team Leaders, and other assigned roles
Collaborate with other site Leadership Training Specialists and COEs to deliver annual corporate training initiatives and projects
Assess training and development options and recommend the best approaches and tools
Create, deliver, and facilitate monthly leadership training to strengthen coaching, development, legal knowledge, retention, engagement, and team culture
Conduct audits to verify supervisors follow SOPs and use trained leadership tools
Partner with Site Leadership and HR to support talent development, performance improvement, and individual development plans as needed
Maintain training documentation, certification records, and related status reports/presentations
Coordinate, schedule, and track New Employee Orientation, Next In Line Leadership Training, and New Leader Bootcamp
Participate in interviews for MWC candidates as needed
Support GPS processes, drive zero losses, and uphold Southwest Cheese non-negotiables
Comply with all applicable safety, health, and food safety regulations and requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write reports/procedures and present information to groups
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business/technical information, procedures, and applicable regulations
Comfort with basic math (fractions/decimals), rates, ratios, and percentages; ability to interpret simple charts/graphs
Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and apply them to solve practical problems
Proficient computer skills (email, recordkeeping, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools)
Demonstrated teamwork and a proactive approach to achieving departmental and company goals
Ability to lead by example and share knowledge and skills with others
Follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures and report unsafe conditions or activities
