Design, develop, and implement solutions within the IT Asset Management (ITAM) module of ServiceNow
Build and enhance ITAM solutions across hardware, software, and cloud asset management
Develop and configure ITAM components including asset lifecycle workflows, license management, and discovery integrations
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using ServiceNow best practices
Perform unit, system, and integration testing to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset data integrity and reconciliation discrepancies
Monitor and maintain ITAM modules for accurate asset visibility and lifecycle tracking
Implement enhancements like automated asset provisioning and software license optimization
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years specializing in ServiceNow
Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITAM modules, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Asset Lifecycle Management
Strong experience with CMDB design, asset data normalization, reconciliation, and discovery tools
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC)
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development frameworks
Experience with software license management, compliance tracking, and audit support
Strong understanding of ITIL practices, particularly as they relate to asset and configuration management
Experience building dashboards, reports, and performance analytics focused on asset utilization, compliance, and cost optimization
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in Agile environments is preferred
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
