Serve as the focal point and lead cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded products/services from inception to completion.
Ensure all projects adhere to accepted quality metrics, deadlines, and budget constraints.
Oversee the overall pre-tax profit and ensure proper management of the three constraints: quality, cost, and time.
Direct and coordinate the work activities of the project team, ensuring optimal performance and motivation.
Lead large programs or portions of very complex programs.
Accountable for accomplishing stated project objectives within the stipulated time and budget.
Develop the complete project plan, set deliverable dates, and track progress.
Utilize standard Project Management tools to analyze complex issues and develop effective resolutions.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
Manage and communicate changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, reporting and escalating to management as needed.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree AND 4+ years of experience in Project Management OR 6+ years experience in one of the following: Project Management, LMR, RF Systems, Radio Frequency, Radio Communications, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, IT, Motorola, Military experience, or Public Safety experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with Six Sigma and other project management methodologies.
Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, civil construction, Military communications, IT Networks.
PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
PM Masters Certificate a plus.
Understanding of two way radio infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
Understanding of local public safety and federal customers, such as police, fire, emergency medical services, government agencies is a plus.
Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s).
