Design, develop, and implement solutions within ServiceNow for Discovery and CMDB modules
Configure and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Server setup, credentials management, probes, sensors, and schedules
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems (REST APIs, SFTP, Graph Connectors, import sets, transform maps)
Create and optimize workflows, business rules, and scripts to automate asset and discovery processes
Implement and maintain the CMDB to ensure accurate, up-to-date IT asset and configuration information
Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide asset visibility and management insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, including Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts
Provide technical analysis and recommendations to improve Asset, Discovery, and CMDB processes
Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis and resolution efforts
Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Document development work, system designs, and operational procedures

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience
5–8 years of ServiceNow experience, with at least 3 years hands-on in Discovery and CMDB
Strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery administration (probes, sensors, MID Server, credentials, schedules)
Experience with CMDB fundamentals (CSDM, CI classes, relationships, deduplication, data quality)
Knowledge of Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) and Discovery Patterns
Infrastructure knowledge: networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, ports, firewalls, SNMP, WMI, SSH), Windows/Linux server basics, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS), containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
Experience designing and supporting enterprise integrations with ServiceNow
