Communicating with the Marketing teams to obtain an understanding of services being procured from our vendors and understanding the status/timeline of delivery of services.
Act as a day-to-day finance partner providing proactive insights and decision support.
Analyze and project the financial performance of marketing initiatives in comparison to established goals.
Identify, assess, and communicate issues affecting sales and profitability.
Perform financial analysis of key marketing campaigns to influence strategic seasonal planning process and in-season optimization.
Prepare executive-ready materials and narratives to support senior-level discussions and reviews.
Manage performance management routines, including variance analysis, trend reporting, and forecast accuracy tracking.
Monitor marketing KPIs, such as customer acquisition costs (CAC) and marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) to optimize return on marketing spend.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
10+ years of applicable Accounting experience
MBA or CPA candidate preferred
Experience with reviewing a Profit & Loss Statement
Experience working with Marketing and Merchandising teams
Experience supporting marketing spend, brand investment, or similar commercial areas strongly preferred.
