Lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies that enable a resilient, cost-efficient, and sustainable supply network for Sobi’s clinical and commercial manufacturing
Combine a strategic and commercial mindset to evaluate and optimize sourcing decisions throughout the product lifecycle — from development to commercialization and life-cycle management
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Technical Operations, Legal, Tax, Finance, and other key stakeholders to negotiate and implement complex, high-value global contracts
Design and maintain a strategic sourcing roadmap, ensuring alignment with Sobi’s business goals and long-term vision
Contribute to due diligence efforts in business development projects, providing critical input on manufacturing and sourcing opportunities
Anticipate market trends and assess supplier capabilities to deliver data-driven sourcing recommendations that strengthen Sobi’s competitive edge
Lead business cases for Technical Operations projects, from financial approval through to contract execution, and continuously enhance sourcing processes and procurement policies to drive efficiency and innovation
Requirements
University degree in Business, Chemistry, Science, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, in sourcing, procurement, or outsourced manufacturing
Proven success negotiating fact-based complex, high-value global contracts in a multicultural setting
Understanding of cGMP manufacturing and global regulatory standards
Experience in global, matrixed organizations and cross-functional collaboration
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Strong financial and analytical acumen (COGS and cost structures)
Expertise in global sourcing strategies and supplier performance management
Exceptional commercial mindset and business judgment
