Participate in the entire product development process: Support us actively from initial idea/sketch through concept phases to preparation for series production.
Concept and design work: Develop ideas, compare variants and prepare design directions.
Graphic design tasks: Create layouts, presentations, product graphics/branding elements and supporting visuals.
Materials and component research: Research suitable fabrics and coatings, evaluate samples and help us develop sustainable options.
Color & Trim development: Delve into color palettes, combinations and details and translate these into coherent proposals.
Creating functional prototypes: Build functional samples to test construction, handling and details.
Requirements
You are enrolled in a degree program in product design or a comparable field and are looking for a 6-month required internship.
Interest in materials, manufacturing and detailing (e.g. fabrics, coatings, trims), including enthusiasm for research, sampling and comparisons.
Basic knowledge of Adobe tools (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for designing concepts, graphics and documentation.
Ideally you have some experience with 3D tools (e.g. Rhino) and a basic understanding of shapes, proportions and construction.
Hands-on mentality: You enjoy practical work, experimenting and supporting prototyping/functional models.
Structured, reliable and independent working style.
