About this role
Role Overview
- Support ongoing technology refresh and migration initiatives.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient Java-based front-end components as well as Python components for the ETL process.
- Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernization and cloud migration efforts.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of and several years of practical experience in Python development.
- Solid skills in Postgres and SQL.
- ETL experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in conceptual design and architecture work.
- Excellent understanding of data.
- Independent and structured working style.
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
