Role Overview
- Develop custom WordPress websites from scratch (not relying solely on pre-built themes)
- Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Translate design mockups into fully functional WordPress websites
- Optimize websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues efficiently
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites when needed
- Implement best practices for security and SEO-friendly structure
Requirements
- Strong experience in WordPress development (not beginner level)
- Proven ability to build WordPress websites from scratch
- Strong ability to write clean, well-structured, and efficient code
- Experience developing custom themes and/or plugins
- Understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and APIs
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
