Ability to leverage accounting knowledge to write reports using Geneva report scripting language (RSL) / SSRS
Work closely with fund accountants and other business contacts to understand requirements and implement accordingly
Participate in development activities as part of a Report Development Team using available Reporting Technologies
Ensure all work products have been fully tested with various business scenarios as part of Unit Testing
Manage Report deliveries and requirement gathering within the reporting team, conducting Scrum meetings
Prepare and stage deliverables for production deployment
Work independently on the end-to-end process of Geneva Upgrades
Migration of Reports using new technologies
Support Geneva application and AGA maintenance releases
Possess excellent communication skills
Use AI tools (e.g., code assistants, query optimizers, automation tools) to accelerate SQL development, generate boilerplate code and test cases, improve debugging and performance tuning, and automate repetitive data validation and reconciliation processes.
Requirements
3 to 4+ years experience on Geneva
understanding of the user features/functions of the application
Strong accounting background and excellent understanding of accounting principles and policies
Ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies will be add-on
