Associate Manager – Corporate Finance, Accounting

Role Overview

• Implement infrastructure and systems for strategic objectives
• Responsible for corporate accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury
• Month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards
• Lead preparation of financial reports for Senior Manager
• Evaluate best industry practices to support the organization's financial planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required
• CPA or similar certification is ideal
• 6-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit environment
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and GAAP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
• Solid experience supporting annual audits with independent responsibilities for corporate accounting
• Strong budgeting and analytical/problem-solving skills
• Experience working with diverse staff and under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance managers
