System Design: Deep experience with architectural patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven, Serverless, Modular Monoliths).
Cloud Ecosystem: Advanced expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on cost optimization and high availability.
Technology Stack: Proficiency in high-performance languages (Java, Go, .NET, or Python) and understanding of when to use SQL vs. NoSQL.
DevOps & Observability: Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Security: Applying Security by Design, OAuth2, and LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law).
Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Mentoring: Raise the technical level of developers through code reviews and pair programming.
Pragmatism: Focus on delivering value, recognizing that "fashionable technology" isn't always the best solution.
Conflict Resolution: Mediate technical disputes and define engineering standards.
Requirements
8 to 10 years in software development.
3+ years in technical leadership or architecture.
Experience with legacy migrations or building high-scale platforms.
Open source contributions, recognized certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect), and experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
