To answer all questions, facilitate all requests and to support all initiatives when called upon to do so.
To develop, improve and maintain processes and standards related to Digital Asset Management, Archives Management, and all other areas of focus.
To act as a source of information for those who need to learn about them.
Partner with all Arthrex regions to support their unique asset needs.
Subject matter expert in initiatives related to their focus areas (Digital Asset Management Systems, Archives, etc.).
Partner with different teams for alignment with their existing and future content needs.
Plans and executes small-scale DAM team projects and initiatives and facilitates communication between stakeholders, team members, etc.
Ensures that all requests received by the Digital Asset Management Team (email, phone, in person, etc.) are handled within the expected service level agreements.
Keeps track to ensure a satisfactory completion for tasks not assigned.
Notify stakeholders of distributed content or changes to content status (active, inactive, etc.).
Assists in Development and maintenance of new workflows, standards, etc. for which the team is responsible.
Facilitates development and maintenance of team’s technical documentation (Training, Workflow Documents, etc.).
Applies appropriate metadata and security to international assets utilizing the established metadata standards.
Validate accuracy of existing metadata.
Works with IT/Support Team to ensure the successful ingesting and downloading of digital assets in supported systems.
Facilitate the accessing, ingesting, and downloading of digital assets globally through appropriate asset security strategy.
Stay current on trends in the industry.
Leads training and education for team members, colleagues, etc. in any areas of focus (including Digital Asset Management, Archives, Metadata Maintenance, Taxonomy, etc.).
Develops and facilitates training of new team members (including full time employees, Co-ops, and Interns etc.).
Requirements
Bachelors degree required, MLS/MIS/MS preferred
6 years of related experience
Strong written communication skills, particularly spelling and vocabulary and verbal skills, including in-person and telephone.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to lead multiple small projects with different and converging timelines.
Superior organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive work environment.
Understanding of Taxonomy development; Controlled Vocabularies; Ontology
Adapts well to changes of priority and focus and assists team members with adoption of new policies, procedures, workflows, etc.
Understanding of Digital Asset Management, metadata practices, essential cataloging protocols.
Knowledge of digital file formats.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in Digital Asset Management Systems.
Proficiency in Content Management Systems.
Proficiency in Marketing Resource Management Systems or project management systems a plus.
Familiarity with coding languages such as JSON, HTML, CSS, etc.
