About this role

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent
Prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
Ensures software standards are met

Bachelors in Science with 5 years of experience or Masters in Science with 3 years of experience or PhD with 1 year of experience or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
Experience with Java, C++, and/or Python
Experience working Software Test, SW Development and/or Systems Engineering
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology
