Role Overview
- Assist in originating and executing Bank CRT and other capital relief trades with leading global financial institutions
- Work with a seasoned team on advising and structuring single-family and multifamily mortgage CRT programs, including transactions with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and global Mortgage Insurance companies
- Build and monetize relationships with asset managers, insurance companies, the GSEs, and global reinsurers
- Assist in all phases of deal execution—from sourcing and RFP response, to structuring and modeling, through final deal marketing and closing
Requirements
- 3
- 7+ years of experience as a dealmaker in private markets, investment banking, structured credit, and mortgage finance
- Proven track record demonstrating broad product knowledge across industries including but not limited to consumer credit, commercial real estate, private debt and equity, CRT, complex securitizations, or capital relief transactions
- Experience navigating various regulatory capital frameworks
- Highly analytical, but equally strong in client-facing, revenue-generating situations
