About this role
Role Overview
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that align with engineering standards and support business needs
- Design, implement, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on-premises environments
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and optimize deployment and release workflows
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift and associated DevOps tools
- Automate operational and deployment tasks using Ansible and other scripting tools
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including RBAC, vulnerability management, and compliance controls
- Support daily operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of platform issues to ensure high availability and reliability
- Produce and maintain up-to-date documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and runbooks
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent certifications (including Red Hat OpenShift)
- Proven hands-on experience deploying, operating, and maintaining OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms in enterprise or on-premise environments
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitLab CI and/or Jenkins
- Solid background in Linux system administration, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Practical experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible or similar tools
- Scripting skills using Bash and/or Python for automation and operational tasks
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Upper-intermediate level of English (both spoken and written)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or Computer Science is a plus
