Provides legal representation for Exchange policyholders in personal injury and property damage lawsuits.
Analyzes cases to develop legal strategies in defense of lawsuits.
Identifies potential exposure to policyholders or the Exchange.
Develops and implements discovery plans and motions.
Prepares for and defends court proceedings including trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
Regularly communicates case details to management and policyholders.
Participates in negotiation and settlement of cases on behalf of the Exchange or its policyholders.

JD Required
1-3 years Insurance defense law Preferred
Insurance background helpful, but not required.
Some knowledge of trial procedures and the rules of the evidence.
Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance
