About this role
Role Overview
As a member of the e/m Commerce team, you shape the entire software lifecycle for online payment solutions such as Wero — from the initial idea through development and testing to successful production.
You develop and maintain modern, user-friendly web applications using current frontend technologies, translate designs into clean, maintainable and high-performance code (HTML, CSS, TypeScript), and continuously improve the user experience.
You take responsibility for accessible development, ensure the implementation of fluid and responsive designs across channels such as apps and browsers, and guarantee responsiveness.
You maintain and optimize existing code, perform version updates and apply targeted refactoring to sustainably improve code quality.
In close collaboration with UX designers, you implement requirements, adapt internal UI elements and optimize existing components to provide the best possible user experience.
Requirements
You hold a degree in Computer Science and have several years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent qualification.
You have experience with modern technologies such as OpenShift (based on Kubernetes), GitLab (deployment pipelines), Figma and Angular (from version 21) and possess a good understanding of UX/UI design with an eye for detail.
You are experienced with tools such as Eclipse, VS Code, IntelliJ, Git, Jira and Confluence and ideally have knowledge of Web Component technologies as well as Domain-Driven Design.
You have fluent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level).
You are communicative, question existing processes and like to look beyond the immediate scope to help move the team forward.
