Develop and execute the sales strategy to drive growth in France, the priority market for this role.
Identify, prospect, and close new clients within the media, publishing, and editorial sectors.
Manage and grow part of the existing customer base in Spain and France, identifying expansion opportunities.
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Build trusted relationships with business and technology decision-makers, including general management, digital leadership, editorial leadership, operations, audience, and advertising teams.
Understand client needs and translate them into tailored value propositions based on Protecmedia’s solutions.
Work closely with internal pre-sales, product, customer success, and delivery teams to ensure strong proposals and smooth commercial handovers.
Maintain disciplined pipeline management and sales activity tracking in CRM.
Represent the company at meetings, trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities when needed.
Provide market intelligence on competitors, trends, and business opportunities in France and Spain.
Requirements
Based in Madrid.
Bilingual French.
Previous experience in international business development or consultative sales.
Availability to travel, especially to France.
B2B sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, highly focused on market development and results.
Proven experience in selling software, SaaS, or technology solutions.
Experience selling into media, publishing, adtech, martech, CMS, digital transformation, or complex enterprise software environments is highly valued.
Ability to generate business through direct prospecting, networking, referrals, and long-term relationship development.
Consultative sales profile, with the ability to understand client processes and sell value rather than just product features.

Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Comfortable working with ambitious sales targets and consultative sales cycles.
