Work closely with Divisional, Corporate, and IPA counterparts to establish appropriate growth and underwriting margin budgets
Assist in the development of strategies to aid negotiations with providers, ensuring financially favorable terms and conditions
Advise senior leaders on network strategy, fostering relationships and optimizing network performance
Provide expert guidance on provider contracting decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
Serve as a key advisor to senior leaders on decisions impacting financial performance, ensuring that all strategic initiatives are financially sound
Prioritize and execute tasks arising from Divisional and Corporate requests while delegating departmental and regional priorities to Leads and their teams
Provide expertise in Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNP) financial strategies across all states, ensuring compliance and optimal performance
Requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting, actuary, finance or any field
8 or more years of accounting, actuary or finance experience
Management experience
Experience leading departmental activities to ensure accurate and timely accounting, financial and statistical reports
Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reporting
Prior experience developing methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing data for complex analyses
Ability to lead and manage special projects that may necessitate cross-functional partnerships
