The Pre-Sales Partner Architect serves as a strategic technical advisor and enablement leader, bridging Optiv’s sales, services, and partner ecosystems.
This role drives pre-sales excellence through deep technical expertise, hands-on solution demonstrations, and enablement programs that enhance both internal teams and client outcomes.
The Partner Architect will champion assigned partner technologies—showcasing use cases, aligning solutions with client goals, and ensuring seamless integration across Optiv’s portfolio.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience with Okta.
5+ years pre-sales engineering experience.
Experience with implementing Okta Workforce or Customer Identity.
An understanding of IAM/ IDaaS competitive landscape.
Knowledge of Channel business models.
Experience with at least one (1) standard network security protocol (OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, OIDC).
Knowledge in one (1) or more of the following areas: web (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks) development, mobile (iOS, Android) development, IP-based real-time communications.
Hands on experience in cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Expert-level certification(s) in at least one Okta technology.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills, including experience with large-audience engagements.
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
Ability to travel up to 40% for client meetings, partner events, and enablement sessions.
