Responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, and continuously enhancing the site's operating environment.
Ensures the infrastructure's ongoing reliability, performance, and security.
Monitoring and maintaining the operating environments, responding to incidents and problems, planning for growth, and deploying new technologies.
Design, install, configure, maintain, and test PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware.
Troubleshooting issues reported by users, supporting access to services, and managing the acquisition, replacement, and decommissioning of related equipment, software, and services.
Requirements
4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
Knowledge of computer operations/Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment.
Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge will be helpful.
Knowledge of networking.
Strong knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes.
Strong knowledge of Information Security.
Intermediate level of understanding in Project Management as well as Change Management.
Knowledge of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
Knowledge of team budget and tracking mechanisms.
Knowledge of IT delivery/operations, analysis, design and development.
Ability to predict, detect and respond to potential malicious factors.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Good communication (both oral and written) and documentation skills.
