Analyze credit quality of collateral pools, reviewing performance data, credit models, underwriting criteria, and macroeconomic factors
Complete end-to-end ratings processes for new issue transactions and surveillance of outstanding transactions
Perform comprehensive cash flow analysis and synthesize results for rating committees in a timely manner
Review legal and operating documents to ensure criteria compliance and identify structural issues, providing feedback to external parties
Actively manage relationships with issuers, intermediaries, and investors while effectively communicating S&P's methodologies
Prepare and deliver written and oral presentations to rating committees, making recommendations and participating in deliberations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
3+ years of experience in credit analysis, including banking or financial services
Strong proficiency with Excel, financial models, and financial data analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
Strong understanding of financial markets and their relationship to S&P products.
