Act as the squad's backend developer.
Implement integrations with various internal and external systems.
Develop APIs and business workflows in Java and Kotlin.
Collaborate with the quality team on integration testing and technical validations.
Monitor logs, metrics and observability.
Create and maintain technical documentation.

Knowledge and experience implementing key design patterns and system architecture.
Experience in backend development with Java and Kotlin.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design best practices.
Experience with Kafka messaging.
Experience implementing observability (Datadog).
Experience with databases such as RDS and DynamoDB.
Ability to use, configure and manage feature toggles.
Provide guidance and contribute to technical documentation.
Provide technical direction following engineering best practices.
Contribute to product evolution both technically and in terms of features and customer value.
Experience with AWS.
Knowledge of Python and/or Node.js is a plus.
