Assisting with monthly preparation, analysis and reconciliation of expenses
Preparing journal entries and maintaining proper support documentations
Supporting the team with month end closing deliverables
Assisting the semi-annual Budget and Forecast processes
Collecting data for various finance-related projects, government surveys and assisting with manual data inputs as required
Updating templates, calendars, timelines and other day-to-day activities to support smooth departmental workflows
Assisting with ad-hoc reporting and requests as needed amongst the Finance teams
Requirements
Be working towards completing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Possess intermediate MS Office skills with particular emphasis on Excel, including familiarity with Pivot Tables, H-Lookup, V-Lookup, Formulas and Worksheet formatting
Demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to details, strong organization and problem solving skills
Demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and willingness to learn new tasks/assignments with a positive attitude
Demonstrate high level of ownership, accountability and reliability.
